How do I find out if Cookies are enabled on my Device?

If you don’t know what web browser or version of the Internet browser you are using, follow the instructions below:


Windows

Select ‘Help’ in the top navigation options of your browser and click on ‘About’.


Macs

When you have a browser window open, click on the Apple menu and then the ‘About’ option.


Instructions for Enabling Cookies on Main PC Internet Browsers


Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, 7.0, 8.0

1. Select ‘Tools’ in the navigation options of your browser window.

2. Click ‘Internet options’.

3. Select the ‘Privacy’ tab.

4. Ensure your Privacy level is set to Medium or below. Setting it above this will disable cookies.


Google Chrome

1. Select ‘Tools’ at the top of your browser window.

2. Click ‘Options’.

3. Select the ‘Under the Hood’ tab.

4. Find the ‘Privacy’ section and click on the ‘Content settings’ button.

5. Select ‘Allow local data to be set’.


Opera

1. Select ‘Menu’ at the top of your browser window.

2. Click ‘Settings’.

3. Click ‘Preferences’.

4. Select the ‘Advanced’ tab.

5. Click the ‘Accept cookies’ option.


For Apple Macs, simply click on the Apple menu and then the ‘About’ option when you have an Internet browser window open.


Enable Cookies on Android and iOS Devices


Android Devices


Google Chrome

1. Open the Chrome app.

2. Tap the three vertical dots in the top right corner to open the menu.

3. Select ‘Settings’.

4. Tap ‘Site settings’.

5. Tap ‘Cookies’.

6. Ensure that ‘Cookies’ are allowed by selecting ‘Allow cookies’.


Samsung Internet Browser

1. Open the Samsung Internet Browser.

2. Tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner to open the menu.

3. Select ‘Settings’.

4. Tap ‘Privacy and security’.

5. Tap ‘Accept cookies’ and ensure that it is enabled.


Firefox for Android

1. Open the Firefox app.

2. Tap the three vertical dots in the top right corner to open the menu.

3. Select ‘Settings’.

4. Tap ‘Privacy’.

5. Tap ‘Cookies’ and select ‘Enabled’.


iOS Devices


Safari

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Scroll down and tap ‘Safari’.

3. Scroll down to the ‘Privacy & Security’ section.

4. Ensure that ‘Block All Cookies’ is turned off.


Google Chrome

1. Open the Chrome app.

2. Tap the three horizontal dots in the bottom right corner to open the menu.

3. Select ‘Settings’.

4. Tap ‘Privacy’.

5. Tap ‘Cookies’ and ensure that it is set to ‘Allow cookies’.


Firefox for iOS

1. Open the Firefox app.

2. Tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner to open the menu.

3. Select ‘Settings’.

4. Tap ‘Privacy’.

5. Tap ‘Cookies’ and select ‘Enabled’.
