Cotton and linens fade faster than velvets. Our Velvets and Linen fabrics need to be considered delicate and should be handled with care - These are not hardwearing.
Some fabrics (such as this cotton/ linen mix) have a layer of fibres on the surface and may well pill or lint - This isn’t a fault and will disperse in time.
Meanwhile a gentle vacuum will help until the fabric has lost its top coat.
Our upholstered products are of the highest level of craftsmanship but after a few weeks you may discover some creases and folds have formed in the fabric, particularly the seating areas.
As this is a natural product, the fabric may stretch over time from where it is sat on it.
This is known as a ‘puddling effect’ in the seat cushion and is what you would expect from a high-quality fabric.
